LIGCS Kicked Off Women’s Forum this Sat with a very important and needed discussion and Informative Session on Covid-19 Vaccination. Led by Flora Parekh, VP-Programs under the guidance of President Vijay Shah and support of LIGCS Officers 2021-23, the forum was represented by 3 prominent doctor panelists from the Indian American community. Dr. Chhaya Patel (Pediatrician) , Dr. Amy Patwa (ER Specialist) & Dr. Sapna Shah (Family Medicine) shared valuable discussion on Covid-19 vaccination, precautions, use of tools like pulse oximeter, travel through the pandemic, continued social distancing and use of masks / face coverings post vaccination and tips to remain safe, healthy and happy. VP-Programs Flora Parekh provided insight on upcoming programs . Women’s Forum Continued its tradition of celebrating monthly January birthdays. President Vijay Shah Shared insight on LIGCS Vision and Go-forward plan. All 3 doctor panelists were honored with a Certificate of Appreciation.
